Tip:   (searching for MP3's)

One of the most frustrating things that most anime fans, like me, have experienced is the never ending search for anime mp3's. Not all anime fans have the money to buy lots of anime cd's so most of them resort to looking for their favorite anime tracks in the net. But, this can be very, VERY tiring because unlike famous music tracks from Mariah Carey or Beastie Boys, anime tracks are not that rampant in the net.

Here are some tips to make things a little bit easier for the anime mp3 hunter:

1. Know the Japanese title of both the anime and the soundtrack you're looking for. Obviously, looking for the opening song of "Ghost Fighter" will get you nowhere. And knowing the Japanese title of the track will be important since almost all titles of anime mp3's in the net are Japanese.

2. Anime mp3's are not only found on anime mp3 sites, you may also look in unofficial anime sites as well. There are hundreds of anime mp3 sites out there, and it would be stupid to check each and every mp3 site. Sometimes, the anime you're looking for have a few unofficial sites, especially if the anime is not that famous. All you have to do is to check each site for a music gallery. If it has not, leave it at once.

3. You must also understand that if the anime is from ages ago, most of the time, tracks from that anime will be very hard to find. I had that experience when I was looking for the very first opening song of Dragonball. AND DAMN, I WAS REALLY HAPPY WHEN I FOUND IT!!!

4. Lastly, it doesn't hurt to ask other otakus in chatrooms, e-groups, etc. Most of them are really friendly and are willing to share their mp3's with you.
