"English. Because some tagalog translations were really weird when you watched it in english and then heard it in tagalog. Like "Oo Yoshi, tama ang sinabi mo." or somebody saying a complicated word and the other one echoing it... it's just plain funny and weird, we prefer subtitles to hear the real characters' voices. And the Eva in tagalog... they call the Angels "Kalaban" so the other people who relied on watching the anime in channel 2 didn't really know what's going on." - Yui Hongo
